Spotlight: The Webb School
The Webb Schools,
Claremont, CA
The Webb Schools are two schools sharing one campus. Governed by an Honor Code, Webb School of California for boys (1922) and Vivian Webb School for girls (1981) provide academic programs with 20 AP courses. The structure offers single-gender classes in grades 9-10 and separate student governance, athletic, advising, and residential programs. The J.E. Libaw Orchestra, 33 varsity teams, and 3 theatrical productions are just a few of the programs offered. The Raymond Alf Museum of Paleontology, the Berry Computer Lab, and dorm room Internet access complement a nationally recognized science program.
