WA Mash - Worcester Academy's use of Social Media in the Classroom

Antonio Viva (Associate Head of School, Worcester Academy) spoke with the Boarding School Podcast about how he and his students are utilizing social media in their creative writing course.

Through the WA Mash, students blog in a timely fashion about a wide variety of cultural, political and economic issues. They compliment their work with audio, video, photos and micro-blogging by integrating social media tools like youtube, twitter and flickr. Think Slate for high school.
