Five New Heads of School Discuss the Power of Small Boarding Schools

Five new heads of small boarding schools spoke with AQ's Boarding School Podcast about how they came to lead their schools and the immediacy & meaning of small school education.

Five new heads of small boarding schools were kind enough to sit with me for a panel discussion during the Fall 2008 Independent Educational Consultants Association conference.

Brad Bates (Dublin School), John Kerney (The Winchendon School) Sally Mixsell (Stoneleigh-Burnham School), John Thomas (St. Andrews-Sewanee School) and Chris Tompkins (Perkiomen School) spoke about how they came to lead their schools and the immediacy and meaning of small school education. Each head explores the qualities and experiences that build the connections capable of changing their students' lives.
