Trinity-Pawling School formally installed William Taylor as the school's headmaster this past Saturday.

Taylor took over as head this past July with this formal installation taking place as part of the school's alumni weekend. In Taylor, T-P found a new head who already knows the school. Taylor previously served as T-P teacher, coach, dorm master, and associate head from 1988-2001.
“Our goal is to help demonstrate where American education needs to go. We can do that by developing the curriculum, partnerships, and experiences that equip boys to become great men,” William Taylor.
From 2001-2015, Taylor led St. George's School in Memphis, Tennessee growing the school from a student population of several hundred to a comprehensive pre-K through high school program serving 1200 students on three campuses.

Most importantly, for students, and faculty, Taylor is known and noted for his belief, and practice, that education must extend beyond the classroom; the best, rigorous educations cultivate, and grow, the whole student.

At St. George's, programs stated under Taylor's direction include senior independent study, individual and collaborative design thinking programs, a Citizenship Institute, a community service program, and Transformative Diversity initiatives. Taylor also helped build an athletic department with a balance of strong athletics and academics.
