Trip Darrin Appointed Blue Ridge School Headmaster

After serving as acting headmaster for eleven months, Blue Ridge School (view profile) trustees announced Trip Darrin’s permanent appointment as Headmaster.

“During his service as Acting Headmaster, the Board has seen in him all the essential skills and qualities we believe are essential to success. His respect of our teaching faculty, his experience in management and planning, his skill in recruiting and marketing, and his belief that traditional methods and modern approaches can be successfully combined give us great confidence that he will be a very effective leader for BRS,” Blue Ridge trustee and board president Jean Hart explained.

Darrin has been a member of the Blue Ridge faculty since 2006 having served most recently as Acting Headmaster and before that Associate Headmaster.

I think most importantly, Darrin’s Blue Ridge colleagues seem genuinely pleased and excited about working with Darrin and his vision for BRS’ future.

One thing that will go unchanged, is the Blue Ridge commitment to boys education.

“We steadfastly believe that ‘all boys, all boarding, all college bound’ remains the right path for BRS,and we are prouder than ever of our unique position in the American educational landscape,” Assistant Headmaster Franklin Daniels commented.
