Dunn School head Mike Beck talks about some of the larger ideas and philosophies that drive Dunn and that Dunn works to impart to its students. Dunn’s a coed boarding school in Los Olivos, CA.
Dunn wants it’s students and alumni to be ready or prepared for the learning process by laying the foundations of values, emotional and physical readiness, academic excellent and social and moral courage. With these underpinnings in place one is then ready to visualize the future and set an example for others.
These ideas are not just spoken about. Dunn faculty and students practice them daily.
A product of both private and public education, Brian Fisher served as a teacher, coach, dorm parent, and administrator at three different boarding schools. Brian also fills the role of Director of Development at Wolfeboro, The Summer Boarding School, in NH along with being a partner at AdmissionsQuest.
