Eagle Hill has a beautiful, brand new, student center that serves the school and the wider/town community- much like the school’s theater.
Eagle Hill School educates students with learning differences, including ADD, ADHD, in grades eight through twelve. Faculty are committed to providing an intimate and individualized course of study for each student within a traditional boarding school setting. It continues to be a very encouraging and supportive community that honors the individual, values learning diversity, fostering personal and social growth for each of its students.
The kids were happy and seemed to flow through their 54 minute class schedule. Each term is 4 weeks, and course discretion is based on student needs with faculty and department approval.
A very strong and active visual and performing arts program works closely with local artists. The school also has an “artist in residence” program with an artist living and working with students several times throughout the year.
Students I met were involved beyond the classroom. They play on competitive sports teams, sing, act, or work in, theater productions, work in the wood shop, and participate in student council, clubs.
Eagle Hill continues to be a wonderful school and the students have unlimited opportunities to get involved and thrive in a beautiful Massachusetts setting.
