Delphian School offers students the opportunity to structure and shape their artistic pursuits and programs. Dephian’s approach to the arts makes artistic pursuit part and parcel of a student’s program.

In Elizabeth’s case, musical performance is part of her academic program. Taking responsibility for her piano practice and performance brings her a discipline, focus, and professionalism that she understands and appreciates.

Kristel explores the importance of projects and making artistic pursuit part of her core academic experiences. She explains, “it (your artistic pursuit) goes in with our program. You can do the thing that you love, expand the thing you love, that you’re going to use later in life…”

Both appreciate the consistent opportunities, discipline, and the underlying understandings fostered through Delphian’s integrated, self directed approach to the arts.
