Miss Hall’s School Highlights Two Articles from The New York Times
I have to admit; I was remiss in not putting these two articles together while I was traveling and in the middle of two books a couple of weeks ago when the New York Times ran them:
“The Women’s Crusade” Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn
“The Way We Live Now, The Power of the Purse” Lisa Belkin
Miss Hall’s School sent a note to their e-mail list calling attention to the special issue covering women and girls- noting a couple of quotes from each article:
“…women and girls aren’t the problem; they’re the solution.” (NYT)
“Women are the conduits through which change is made.” (NYT)

A product of both private and public education, Brian Fisher served as a teacher, coach, dorm parent, and administrator at three different boarding schools.
