Why You Should Consider Sedbergh School

During a recent trip to Canada, I had a chance to tour Sedbergh School‘s (Montebello, Quebec Canada) campus with Cory Awde, their Director of Admission.

A small boarding school offering grades 7-12 with a 5:1 student to teacher ratio, Sedbergh features a traditional prep school curriculum along with a strong list of outdoor extracurriculars that take advantage of their 1200 acre campus throughout the entire year.

After touring campus I can see why. What a beautiful spot with rolling hills, mountain access, a lake, winter camping huts along with mile after mile of trails for skiing, running and hiking.

A student looking for a small school setting who’s geared toward the outdoors could fit in very well at Sedbergh.

To get a better sense of the type of student that Sedbergh attracts, I put this question to Cory (recorded with my iPhone for you school folks!):

“Why should a family & student consider attending Sedbergh School?”

Watch the video to find out why! Also, check out the photos I took while on tour- they help to reinforce his answer.
