We’ve mentioned Walnut Hill School quite a bit over the past year- particularly in our piece about pre-professional arts schools and we were duly impressed when we read  “Juilliard-trained composer has a ‘musical gift’” in The Daily News of Newburyport.

Newburyport resident Daniel Colson attended Walnut Hill and Julliard finishing with a master’s degree in composition in five years. He wants to earn a doctorate and teach. The Daily News article offers more detail. Enjoy.
