Westover School Solar PV Dedication Ceremony

Tesla’s all-electric 2010 Roadster sports car also on display

Join us for the dedication of the 158kW solar electric (PV) system at Westover School and celebration of their successful student-led Green Cup Challenge efforts to reduce energy use campus wide. Speakers will include:

• Richard Blumenthal, CT Attorney General
• Bob Powell, President and CEO of Solar Power Partners, system owner and operator
• Ron French, President of Solar Business for installing contractor Alteris Renewables
• David Ljungquist, Associate Director of Project Development at the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund
• Ann Pollina, Head of School at Westover

The ceremony will also include a ceremonial flipping of the switch and a reception afterwards with light refreshments.

You are encouraged to arrive early at 3PM to see a Tesla electric car and speak with a

representative from this innovative electric vehicle company.
