In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, Michael Fosberg will be coming to the Fireman Performing Arts Center on Friday, January 15, 2010 as a Tomlinson Fellow to perform his one-man production entitled, “Incognito.” ??Mr. Fosberg grew up in a middle-class white family; however, in 1992, after 32 years, Michael discovered that the biological father he never really knew was African-American. As he describes it, “’Incognito’ is the story of his journey to uncover and discover [him]self, [his] roots, [his] family, and the difficult history behind the tragic American complexity of ’race’.” For more specific information, click here. ?After the show and its Q&A period,Mr. Fosberg will present a workshop on stereotypes.
