History

Founded by Mrs. Sally Campbell Woodhall and Dr. Jonathan A. Woodhall, The Woodhall School sought to provide a holistic education to young men who were bright but had not found success. The Woodhalls were lifelong educators who believed such students would thrive with an individualized education. In 1983, the school opened with five students and five teachers in two farmhouses in Bethlehem, Connecticut. The school has grown to encompass 42 students on a 38 acre campus.
