History

The Fessenden School's mission is to offer boys an excellent education and a sound foundation for their future development. Recognizing that schools must prepare their students for a rapidly changing world, Fessenden strives to develop the capacity for critical thinking, innovation, and creativity, while emphasizing the timeless values of honesty, compassion and respect. All programs in the school are designed to instill moral character, a strong sense of sportsmanship, and a love learning. Fessenden recognizes that there is more to a good education than academic skills. Equally important is the ability to work cooperatively with others, build trust, and understand the importance of community.

Considering Financial Aid?

Schools administer their financial aid individually. The keys to seeking financial aid are:

  1. Planning, including dedicating time to sit-down and work through the paperwork and process
  2. Communicating with the admission and financial aid officers at the school
  3. Completing the paperwork and forms early and accurately (forms and paperwork can differ between schools)
  4. Meeting the financial aid deadline (it's early).
