Review Guidelines
AdmissionsQuest school reviews function as a legitimate resource for families and students researching independent schools. Posting a review is limited to students and parents/guardians who attended or had a student attend the school within the last three years. Our goal is to have reviews provide feeling and insight into the school experience. Each reviewer is limited to one post at each school.
To insure appropriate tone and content, we require each author to adhere to the following guidelines:
Be:
- Honest
- Thoughtful
- Consider the review questions
- Appropriate in tone; criticism is appropriate; bashing and ranting is not
- Limit your review to only your experience
- Well written with good spelling and punctuation
Avoid:
- Personal Attack
- Institutional Disparagement
- Opinion presented at fact
- Any false information
- Using or disclosing your personal information
Examples of inappropriate comments include but are not limited to any writing that seems libelous, defamatory, indecent, vulgar or obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive, racially, culturally, or ethnically offensive, harmful, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, objectionable, discriminatory, or abusive, or which may or may appear to impersonate anyone else.
AdmissionsQuest will not post any statement containing a threat of violence against a person or any other remark that would tend to be seen as intimidating or intends to harm someone. AdmissionsQuest maintains final editorial control over all submitted reviews. Reviews must evince appropriate tone and content. All submissions become the property of AdmissionsQuest which reserves the right to determine publication.
