History

At Monte Vista, we are on the cutting edge of technology in the classrooms. MVCS was one of the first to digitize our entire library, first in the world to integrate the iPad and iPad 2 into the classroom, and one of the largest 1:1 iPad launches, with 640 high school students personally carrying one for their own use.

Founded in Watsonville, California in 1926, our beautiful 100-acre campus is next to an 18 hole golf course. It is made up of ponds, trails, six athletic fields, two gymnasiums, tennis courts, swimming pool and an equestrian center. Our Harkness Table concept in small classroom settings, challenging curriculum, and support programs will allow us to be the premier college preparatory Christian school in northern California, committed to preparing students to be world changers.

Monte Vista Christian School's financial aid at a glance:

  • Financial Aid Deadline(s): February 17
  • Financial Aid Awarded: March 9

Considering Financial Aid?

Schools administer their financial aid individually. The keys to seeking financial aid are:

  1. Planning, including dedicating time to sit-down and work through the paperwork and process
  2. Communicating with the admission and financial aid officers at the school
  3. Completing the paperwork and forms early and accurately (forms and paperwork can differ between schools)
  4. Meeting the financial aid deadline (it's early).
