History

Founded in 1932, Midland is a coed college prep boarding school for grades 9-12, which offers a rigorous academic program, rooted in community values. With an experienced faculty, a maximum enrollment of 95 students, and an average class size of 12, Midland ensures that all students have access to dynamic, passionate and trusted adults. Situated on 3 thousand acres, framed by Grass Mountain, Midland is preserved forever through a conservation easement and allows students to connect to the land every day. Self-reliance, stewardship and a sense of place is in Midland’s DNA. We believe the essential ingredients of learning are a student, a teacher and an idea. Considering Financial Aid?

Schools administer their financial aid individually. The keys to seeking financial aid are:

  1. Planning, including dedicating time to sit-down and work through the paperwork and process
  2. Communicating with the admission and financial aid officers at the school
  3. Completing the paperwork and forms early and accurately (forms and paperwork can differ between schools)
  4. Meeting the financial aid deadline (it's early).
