    Alumnus/Year Graduated: 2012

Please share a few thoughts about your experiences with Ridley College: Ridley College has been a once in a lifetime experience for me that I would not change for anything in the world. Having started my life at Ridley in Grade 11, I thought that I would be joining a group of students who had been friends all through high school, and I would be simply known as the new kid. However, my experience could not be further from this; right from the get-go I began making friends with people from all over the world–both old and new students like myself. These friends would quickly become lifelong connections and would welcome me with open arms across the globe. Before Ridley, I would have never dreamed of spending Christmas with my best friend at his home in Germany, or going on a summer exchange in the heart of France, or studying at a prestigious Canadian university like the University of Toronto where I am currently enrolled. Ridley truly is a giant family made up of staff, students, faculty, and alumni. Thanks to Ridley, I truly developed as a person and found my curiosity for learning and growing. I cannot imagine where I would be in life and who I would be if it weren’t for my fortunate decision and acceptance to attend Ridley College, but I certainly would not be who I am today.

Ridley prepared me in so many ways for university and my future, from challenging and rewarding courses, hands-on and passionate teachers, supportive programs, people and structures, and most importantly, a unique atmosphere. Ridley College focused on skills such as leadership, responsibility, discovery, knowledge, creativity and service that are helping me as I venture into the wider world.
