| Linden Hall is an independent, college- preparatory boarding and day school for girls. Founded in 1746 and acclaimed as the oldest girls' boarding school in the United States, the school now ranks among the nation's best and has been continuously innovatively educating young women for over 260 years. Linden Hall is an extraordinary meeting of the timeless and the innovative, of security and growth, of nurture and challenge within a safe community where young women learn to ask questions, take risks, and develop positive self-awareness.
