Riverside Military Academy was established in 1907 and has been helping young men excel for over 100 years. Riverside is designed to meet the unique educational and developmental needs of young men in grades 7-12. The Academy's comprehensive program of academics, athletics, and leadership development sets the stage for a lifetime of success.
A student/teacher ratio of 14:1 provides each cadet with individual attention that enables success in the classroom. Riverside promotes the growth of leadership skills and character development. The Academy has been an Army JROTC Honor Unit of Distinction for over 75 years. The school's 206 acre campus is located in Gainesville, Georgia on the shores of Lake Sydney Lanier. The Academy is just one hour north of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The Riverside Corps of Cadets participated in the Georgia Veterans' Day parade in downtown Atlanta on Nov. 11, 2012. For the 4th consecutive year our Corps was awarded the President's Trophy for Best Marching Unit.
