History

West Nottingham Academy (WNA) is a small college-preparatory boarding and day school for grades 9-12, between Baltimore and Philadelphia. Founded in 1744, WNA is the oldest boarding school in America.

At West Nottingham we love helping students who enjoy being challenged and sharing their educational journey with others. You certainly don’t need to know everything, but you do have to be curious and passionate about learning.

Considering Financial Aid?

Schools administer their financial aid individually. The keys to seeking financial aid are:

  1. Planning, including dedicating time to sit-down and work through the paperwork and process
  2. Communicating with the admission and financial aid officers at the school
  3. Completing the paperwork and forms early and accurately (forms and paperwork can differ between schools)
  4. Meeting the financial aid deadline (it's early).
